Simply follow these steps and it will work:
- Write your mnemonic to a paper or somewhere
- Backup full node db file (you don't need to resync again)
- uninstall Chia
- delete these folders:
C:\Users\username.chia and C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\chia-blockchain - reinstall Chia
- start it, wait a few minutes and close it
- overwrite the previously backed up db file in
C:\Users\username.chia\mainnet\db - start Chia
